About Poudre Sports Car

Poudre Sports Car was opened in north Fort Collins in 1972 by Stephen Schroeder. Stephen had moved from the East Coast, and fell in love with Fort Collins, deciding to stay and raise his family here. A lifelong love with fast cars kept him active in the shop for 40 plus years. Stephens sons, Zach and Stefan followed his footsteps, and both spent much of their youth working in the shop and cultivating a love for high performance European cars.

After Stephens passing, Zach and Stefan chose to continue following their fathers legacy, and have maintained Poudre Sports Cars’ place in Colorado’s European Car market. Zach can always be found under a Porsche of some sort in the back, and Stefan runs the business from the front desk. Poudre Sports Car has over 80 years of combined staff experience, and strives to provide its clients with the highest level automotive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair services.

When I use a shop I rate them on three things: honesty, proactive communication, and fair pricing (not cheap, fair). Poudre Sports Car hit all three marks with exception performance.
